Dr. Michael Cassidy is the Founder of African Enterprise, the ministry of evangelism, leadership development, reconciliation, aid and development, which was launched in 1961 with the aim of “Evangelising the cities of Africa through word and deed in partnership with the Church”.

Greg Smerdon BA in Education, MA. (AE SA team leader)

Rev. Smerdon taught Mathematics at Senior Secondary level for 9 years.
He later became involved in Eastwood Philadelphia Church as Youth
Pastor and Worship Facilitator, followed by becoming a chaplain to
teachers and students at Haythorne Senior Secondary School. |

Since 2006, Paul has worked alongside with Michael Cassidy and served AE as a strategic planning consultant. He has recently moved with his family to South Africa in order to serve the AELTC in a full-time capacity as Executive Director. Ordained in 1994 as an Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, he
is a member of the leadership team at Christ Community Church, PCA
(Chapel Hill, NC).
